I’m truly honored. On behalf of UDiON Foundation and entire team, thank you Bishop Hall and the team of El-Beth-El Development Center.

At UDiON Foundation We envision a world in which community challenges are addressed, not by individual leaders, but by collective leadership — groups of local residents working together for sustainable change.

A Container of Transformative Change Based on Relationship supports through conversation increase individual and collective capacity of people to stand in the tension that emerge out of efforts to make change.

Our diverse community challenges us to share our own ideas while considering other points of view. Differences are assets that make us better learners, teachers, scholars, employees, and community members. This inclusive culture extends far beyond these dinner tables and does not happen without the deliberate work of each of us as members of a diverse community. It is therefore our patriotic and moral duty to dedicate ourselves to the continued quest for equality and justice for all for ourselves, for future generations and for the world we love.

Tonight is not about us, it is about you, all the children in this room and beyond, you are the future leader and as member of the community, we have an obligation, to teach and empower our youth, as leader of our community we must pave the path for our generation to walk, and each and every one of us can leave a trail for them. Freedom is Not Free, if it’s worth having it, than it is worth sacrificing!
